There are no modern Apostles, you don’t lay a second foundation after the builder has started building.
See the written Scripture below:
The wall of the city had twelve foundation stones, and on them were written the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.Revelation 21:14
The apostle John was witness to the future writings on the foundation stones of the New Jerusalem, on them are written the twelve names only. Jesus defines the apostles names for us in three of the Gospel accounts as written by those same apostles.
Afterward Jesus went up on a mountain and called out the ones he wanted to go with him. And they came to him. Then he appointed twelve of them and called them his apostles. They were to accompany him, and he would send them out to preach, giving them authority to cast out demons. These are the twelve he chose:
Simon (whom he named Peter),Mark 3:13-19 – Matthew 10:1-4 – Luke 6:12-16
James and John (the sons of Zebedee, but Jesus nicknamed them “Sons of Thunder”),
James (son of Alphaeus),
Simon (the zealot),
Judas Iscariot (who later betrayed him, replaced by Matthias).
Read your Bible folks. Listen/read to what the Apostles had to say about Jesus Christ, those who listen to them obey Christ, those who obey Christ obey the Father, this is pleasing to God.
Then he said to the disciples, “Anyone who accepts your message is also accepting me. And anyone who rejects you is rejecting me. And anyone who rejects me is rejecting God, who sent me.”Luke 10:16
